Aixa Amarante Naranjo is a proud Latina theatre producer with a MA in Creative Producing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with a background in dance and musical theatre. She currently serves as the Production Coordinator at CDM Productions, alongside her roles as the Director of Aixa Amarante Productions and Co-Director of Half A Girl Productions. Her approach to production is centred around creating interdisciplinary works that are accessible and uplifting, focusing on fostering a safe and welcoming environment where diverse voices are not only heard but celebrated. Aixa emphasises the authenticity of storytelling, ensuring that every production resonates deeply with both its participants and audiences.
Her recent appointment as Creative Producer at The Avieli Arthouse further underscores her commitment to expanding creative opportunities. The Avieli Arthouse is an arts charity active in both the U.K.and Ghana, dedicated to launching innovative productions, co-creational workshops, and extensive community outreach projects in Summer 2024.
Aixa remains passionately committed to transforming the global theatre landscape by highlighting poignant, underrepresented stories. Her work continues to advocate for a theatre industry that is equitable, inclusive, and universally accessible, ensuring that every story finds its stage.
